The Big Mistake

See? Y'all should have voted for me. My inauguration could have been done for a lot less and been way more fun!

1) I would have used local bands from where I'm from. Okay. Actually, they would be the bands that my friends & family are in. Diverse group though.

2) Two words: Pig Roast

I can stop right there. Why? Have you ever been to a pig roast? Laid back. Bon fire. (Well, maybe that part wouldn't work in January) Drunks lighting off fireworks. Pretty much, I would redneck up the place. Which would have made it more interesting. More easy going.

But NO! You all decided to run a guy that had some government experience. How did that work out for you?

The preceding was sarcasm. If you don't get it, you must be a liberal.

I Believe...

I believe that the American people have forgotten that congress works for us. They are our employees & should be treated as such. They don't do their job, get rid of them. They want a raise, we should vote on it.

I believe that if your representative doesn't hold a town hall type meeting at least once a year, that should be voted out.

I believe if your representative no longer holds residence in your district, they should be voted out.

I believe that the 17th amendment should be repealed so we can restore balance to our republic.

I believe that there should be term limits for each house: 6 terms for a representative & 2 terms for a senator. That is 12 years in each house.

I believe that politics can drive a sane man to drink.

I believe that the people in the capital need to remember whose money they're dealing with. That money is taxpayer money and belongs to the American people. It is not the government's money.

I believe we have allowed ourselves as Americans to forget our logical thinking and focus more on how everything 'feels'. Feelings are for relationships, logic are for law making.

I believe we need to start treating our politicians like the employees that they are. I believe we all as Americans should call, write, email, or tweet on a regular basis. They should respond to us in a timely manner because they work for us.

I believe we need to take back our country. Don't let the people in DC bully us any longer. We outnumber them. We have higher IQ's. We know that Guam can't tip over.

Hookers Union?

This came to me via an email, but I think it needs to be shared in the blogosphere.
Copier's note: I need not change a thing. No editing. Simple copy & paste. Enjoy!

A dedicated Teamsters union worker was attending a
Convention in Las Vegas and decided to check out the
Local brothels. When he got to the first one, he asked
The Madam, "Is this a union house?"
"No," she replied, "I'm sorry it isn't."
"Well, if I pay you $100, what cut do the girls get?"
"The house gets $80 and the girls get $20," she answered.
Offended at such unfair dealings, the union man stomped off down the street in search of a more equitable, hopefully unionised shop.
His search continued until finally he reached a brothel where the
Madam responded, "Why yes sir, this is a union house. We observe all union rules."
The man asked, "And, if I pay you $100, what cut do the girls get?"
"The girls get $80 and the house gets $20."
"That's more like it!" the union man said.
He handed the Madam $100, looked around the room, and pointed to a stunningly attractive green-eyed blonde.
 "I'd like her," he said.
"I'm sure you would, sir," said the Madam.
"I'd like her," he said.
"I'm sure you would, sir," said the Madam.
Then she gestured to a 92-year old woman in the corner,
"but Ethel here has 67 years seniority and according to
Union rules, she's next."

NOW you know what's wrong with the AUTO industry and

The seniority system in the House and Senate.

Cost of Paying Attention

Do you know what your congress is doing?
They are YOUR employees.
How close of an eye do you have on them?
Your money pays their salaries.

We have grown too comfortable in our lives to the point of becoming apathetic towards the government. We only hold a few accountable instead of all. This needs to stop! We need to pay more attention before the 11th hour on these deals.

The government has slowly been conditioning us to give up our freedoms without a fight. Watch a movie from the early 80's, see how much the government & society has changed. Then watch the difference between sitcoms from the 90's and now.

They're hoping we'll be distracted by lame talking points & internet meme to really pay attention to what they are doing. Well, until its too late anyway.

One paycheck in and regret was known via twitter:

 and

Conservatives tried to warn them, but the messaging failed. Now we have a bigger fight on our hands. An United States representative from NY wants to repeal the 22nd amendment. If you don't which one that is, I'll tell you, its the one for presidential term limits.

Here's the link:

We need to start paying better attention to them. This is just the beginning. Politicians need to remember we have the power to hire & fire them. This is our country! I will not bow down to any man & neither should you!

This is #WAR!
